thirty bees

thirty bees, the open source e-commerce platform, was founded by Lesley from dh42. thirty bees is a fork of PrestaShop 1.6, which was made stable, updated, with a whole host of new features added to it. It was created as a way for PrestaShop users who were uncertain about version 1.7's future, to have a stable website that was patched and updated and it grew from there. In late 2020, Lesley sold thirty bees to a group of developers based in the Netherlands, so they could continue the vision that thirty bees originally set out - affordable open source e-commerce for everyone.
